BRIDAL BEAUTY PREPARATION PROTOCOL

Your wedding day is one of the most magical moments of your life, and every detail matters. Wedding hair and makeup trial isn’t just a test run; it’s your chance to perfect your dream bridal look, eliminate stress, and ensure you walk down the aisle feeling like the best version of yourself.

It’s recommended to schedule your trial 2 to 6 months before your wedding. This timeframe allows room for a second trial if you want to explore another style or make adjustments.

Hair Preparation

Can’t decide on your wedding hair?

Stay true to your style. Your wedding day is not the time for a drastic hair transformation! If you’ve never straightened your naturally curly hair, for example, this may not be the best moment to experiment.

Think about the hair styles that have made you feel the most confident in previous occasions; the ones that have drawn the most compliments. This can be a great starting point for choosing a flattering and timeless bridal hairstyle.

Your hair should be ready to shape, sculpt and style.

  • If you plan to cut or dye your hair, it’s best to start discussing changes with your stylist at least four to six months in advance to ensure your hair reaches the desired length and colour in time. You should then schedule a touch up appointment around 2 weeks before the big day.

  • Clean, fully dry hair - For the trial - wash the night before with 2 shampoos and a minimal of mascara.

  • No styling products

  • Quick blow‑dry for natural curls or frizzy hair (if needed)

  • Straightening treatments (unless discussed)

  • Washing right before the appointment

Remember that you’re the boss!

If you don’t like what I am doing, say so.

Don’t get talked into a look that you’re not comfortable with.

If it doesn’t look right the first time, we start again – the whole idea of a trial is to test out ideas to arrive at the best result.

If you’re not happy, I won’t be happy either, so don’t be afraid to speak your mind!

ACCESSORIES & STYLING DETAILS

Bring everything that helps us visualize your final bridal look:

  • Hair accessories (pins, combs, tiaras, flowers, veils)

  • Earrings you plan to wear

  • A white top. It is better to visualize your final look with a white and a neckline similar to your wedding dress,

What do I do after my wedding trial?

Put it all on record. I will take a lots of pictures, during and after the trial and share them with you.

Before you finish the trial, talk through the hair and makeup styles with me and make lots of notes – that way you’ll never have to lie awake thinking that something’s been forgotten or wondering what was said!

We will reach out to gather feedback, as this insight allows us to refine the style and ensure it remains secure and flawless for your wedding day. If you feel any changes are necessary, communicate them to me as soon as possible. Whether it’s adjusting volume, securing the style more firmly, or altering certain details, we can schedule a follow-up appointment to implement the modifications well before the big day.

Open communication is key to achieving a look that makes you feel confident and comfortable.

THAT ELEVATE YOUR RESULT

These tips apply both to the trial and to the wedding day.

Traitement de la peau du visage

Skin Treatments:

  • Manual Facial Cleansing -is a traditional procedure that manually remove: open and closed blackheads, bumps, and milia.

  • HydraFacial -It has the same effect as a cleansing treatment, but it only works to maintain the skin clean. It should be done after you’ve had a manual deep‑cleansing facial — only manual extraction can truly clean the skin at a deeper level.

  • Gentle enzyme peel - dissolve dead surface skin cells without harsh scrubbing or strong acids. It smooths texture and boosts brightness with minimal risk of irritation or redness.

  • LED therapy -

  • Brow shaping and Lip exfoliation

  • Emface — a non‑invasive lifting and toning treatment that enhances facial muscle structure for a naturally sculpted look. I personally do it because I don’t tolerate Botox or fillers, and I highly recommend it. Generally, 4 to 6 initial sessions per year are advised.

Dermatologist: The best option is always to consult a dermatologist only they can evaluate your skin type and understand exactly what it needs. Many dermatologists offer a “bridal pack” a customized plan designed specifically for you, guiding your skin preparation all the way to the wedding day.

HAIR:

Six Months Out:

  • Assess Your Hair Health: Start by evaluating your hair’s condition. If it’s damaged or lacks shine, now’s the time to start a regimen to improve its health.

  • Trim Regularly: Schedule a trim every 6-8 weeks to keep your ends healthy and prevent split ends.

  • Consult a Professional: Meet with a hairstylist to discuss your wedding hairstyle, hair health, and any necessary treatments. Talk to your hairdresser about the hairstyle you have in mind. They can adapt the haircut so the final style becomes easier to shape, more durable, and beautiful.

Three Months Out:

  • Consider Color: If you’re planning to color your hair, now is a good time to do it to allow any changes to settle.

  • Treat Yourself to a Deep Conditioning Treatment: Invest in a professional deep conditioning treatment to nourish your hair and improve its texture.

One Month Out:

  • Final Haircut: Get your final trim about a month before the wedding.

  • Daily Care:

  • Use the Right Shampoo and Conditioner: Choose products suited to your hair type. Moisturizing shampoos and conditioners are often recommended for dry or damaged hair.

  • Avoid Over-Washing: Washing your hair too often can strip it of natural oils. Aim to wash your hair 2-3 times a week.

  • Weekly Care:

  • Hair Masks: Incorporate a nourishing hair mask into your weekly routine to keep your hair hydrated and healthy.

  • Avoid Heat: Minimize the use of heat styling tools like straighteners and curling irons to prevent damage.

Pre-Wedding Hair Treatments:

Two Weeks Before:

  • Deep Conditioning: Do a deep conditioning treatment to ensure your hair is in top condition.

  • Scalp Care: Consider a scalp treatment to address any dryness or build-up. Treat yourself to a head spa! Trust me, it’s great and just the relaxing treatment you deserve before your big day.

One Week Before:

  • Wash and Dry: Wash your hair the night before of the wedding and dry.

  • Avoid New Products: Stick with products you’ve used before to avoid any unexpected reactions or changes in texture.

  • Consider Extensions: If you want extra volume, holding for longer your hairstyle or length, discuss the option of hair extensions with me before your trial.
